BOMBARDEMENT are a band hailing from  my country (France - in case you don't know yet) and I'm fuckin' happy I could discover them 'cos their music just kicks ass ! That EP is their 3rd release so far, after one demo and a full-length LP, respectively released in 2016 & 2019. This Ep is made of 4 songs for a total playing time under 10 minutes.. yes that's short... BUT HOLY SHIT, that's fuckin' efficient & intense if you ask me ! The band's style is somewhere between Crust, D-Beat Hard-Core, Punk styles and bands that immediately come to my mind are DISCHARGE, G.B.H. and SACRILEGE (UK) and even Oriane's vocals make me think of SACRILEGE's singer Tam - don't get me wrong, that's a good thing, I have always loved Tam's voice - raw, aggressive and straight to the point ! Musically, then, as you probably assume, it's fast, raw, it takes no prisoner and there's an overall feeling for urgency throughout the 4 songs - even when they slow down the tempo, like on "My Own Satan" (my fave song of the EP - brilliant guitar riffs !), you feel seized with a deep feeling of discomfort and uncertainty - fuck ! I could listen to that song endlessly ! ... To be as short as the EP (ha !) I can only recommend this band to all Hard-Core-Punk addicts around, they're for sure a band to follow and support - they really deliver Hard-Core/Punk music as it was meant to be !

Fabien

Born 1969, grew up with the NWOBHM sounds, musically educated with cult french magazines that were ENFER and METAL ATTACK, definitely nailed to the style when "The Number Of The Beast" by IRON MAIDEN was released... From 1982, it was clear life would never be the same ! Young & getting wild to the HEAVY sounds of SAXON, VENOM, BLACK SABBATH, MOTORHEAD, Young Fab also discovered thanks to school mates the NOISE, FILTH & FURY of Hard-Core/Punk bands like G.B.H, DISCHARGE, BROKEN BONES but also CRO-MAGS, BAD BRAINS, FUGAZI... and later on, through the 90's, everything that was ALTERNATIVE, EXPERIMENTAL, GRUNGE, INDUSTRIAL (SONIC YOUTH, NINE INCH NAILS, SOUDGARDEN, ALICE IN CHAINS)... Passion & curiosity grew up as years went by ... Fate was SEALED... no turning back ! No Music = No Life !
