New MAGGOT HEART video “Roses” OUT NOW !!!

Guitarist/lead singer Linnéa tells us :

"Roses" is one of the key tracks off "Mercy Machine". I sing "all is truth under roses" sub rosa being the culmination of a psycho-sexual journey. The video was inspired by what Jung said about meeting oneself is meeting one's shadow, and is a rock n roll depiction of an esoteric transformation from black to white to red."

MAGGOT HEART are also confirmed for this year’s digital edition of Roadburn Festival, April 16-18. They will contribute with an exclusive performance of songs from their critically acclaimed 2020 album “Mercy Machine”, out now on Rapid Eye Records.

Linnéa comments “We haven’t been on stage since our last US tour in October 2019, and we’ve been dying to play the songs off ‘Mercy Machine’ live. It’s an honour to finally be able to present a few of these tracks at Roadburn Redux, in a setting that speaks of who we are as a band. We’ll channel everything we’ve got – tune in and turn on.”

From 1982, it was clear life would never be the same ! Young & getting wild to the HEAVY sounds of SAXON, VENOM, BLACK SABBATH, MOTORHEAD, Young Fab also discovered thanks to school mates the NOISE, FILTH & FURY of Hard-Core/Punk bands like G.B.H, DISCHARGE, BROKEN BONES but also CRO-MAGS, BAD BRAINS, FUGAZI... and later on, through the 90's, everything that was ALTERNATIVE, EXPERIMENTAL, GRUNGE, INDUSTRIAL (SONIC YOUTH, NINE INCH NAILS, SOUDGARDEN, ALICE IN CHAINS)... Passion & curiosity grew up as years went by ... Fate was SEALED... no turning back ! No Music = No Life !
