NUMIDIAN KILLING MACHINE - Gateway To A Post-Apocalyptic Creation (Algeria - Death Metal - Interview with L.I.V.V).

-  Hello ! Can you introduce yourself and tell us how it all began for you - your encounter with this musical universe, what appealed to you, what fascinated you and what made you want to get into music? 
Hails, it's L.I.V.V Bassplayer and composer of the band, i was introduced to the universe of metal music since a young age we used to have Hard Rock/ Metal vinyls at home that belonged to my family, in my old band we played Black Metal, after some musical hiatus i was back to music with this project.

- Tell me about the band... How you met - the current line-up - past experiences - and above all - WHY the need to form THIS band?
The whole idea started in 2017 when i was back to music, and started searching for musicians to complete the line up, it was a little bit difficult because most of the musicians here are into Iron Maiden or Metallica stuff and not very familliar with extreme genres of Heavy Metal, so after some auditions we setled in a first lineup and started working on the tracks that made the "Psychotronik Breakdown" album, with this project i wanted to explore our antique Numidian history and project it into a Post-Apocalyptical future thus creating a fantastic world that would be a base for our creation. 

- Describe your sound and explain why I should listen to YOUR band at all cost ?
Our sound is inspired by some of the old school Black/Speed Metal in the vein of old SODOM recordings, DESTRUCTION, Old BOLT THROWER, Old BATHORY, Old MAYHEM, Old IMMORTAL,  CORONER and more, a more than sufficient reason on why you should listen to us, huh? (Sure ! Ed.)

- Lyrical and musical inspirations/influences ? How important are the lyrics for you ? Are there any specific messages or thoughts you try to develop and share through your lyrics ? 
As I was pointing at earlier, our lyrics are on our Numidian history mixed with Post apocalyptic themes, there are tracks who portray some history about the Numidian Kings, battles, historical tragedies, while others are about the projection of Numidia in a post apocalyptic future where remmenants of civilisation fight for survival by going back to the roots. 

- About your latest release ?
Our album "PSYCHOTRONIK BREAKDOWN" was recorded and mixed here in Algeria, and produced by german label FETZNER DEATH RECORDS who released it in CD and TAPE format, you can order it from the label's page, and of course it is also available in all digital platforms as well as in our Official Youtube Channel, we are currently in works for a new release, more informations will be posted soon ! 

- Future plans ? 
A new release and some show dates....

- Your most insane dream with the band would be ?
Garnering more ears who understand our message (laughs)

- Your BEST & WORST concert - as a band - and why ? 
Well no worst concert but the best date was the show in Algiers last July 26th !

- Some words on your local scene - bands you're friends with and you'd like to name ? 
I would like to thank Redouane Aouameur from the band LELALHELL for his help, he actually did the vocals on our album, and of course I have some thoughts  to our deceased guitar player Abdelwahab Merzouk who didn't live to see the album released, as well as another deceased comrade Salem Azzi from the band ATAKOR. (Most sincere condolences to you, friends & family. - Ed.)
